Former President John Mahama has waded into the leaked Kwesi Botchwey report which investigated the NDC’s defeat in the 2016 elections.
In a tweet on his official Twitter handle, John Mahama has jabbed media houses who are serialising the report.
According to him, these media houses seem to have found solace in the report and are quoting copiously from it as if it is the panacea to the country’s problem.
“It appears ‘KB report’ has been adopted by some media as the new handbook for any challenge facing GH.”
Mr Mahama followed the tweet with another one a minute later saying “In the event of crisis, open any page and quote. Lol”
Accra based Joy FM has intercepted the executive summary of the much sought after Kwesi Botchwey Committee’s report.
Portions of the report put the defeat of the party on its inability to link up with the grass root, a situation that created despondency at the local levels.
The report also criticises the campaign strategy of the party and fingered Dr Edward Omane Boamah, and Presidential Staffer, Stan Dogbe for the party’s defeat.
