Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan was today sworn in as Ghana’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
Alhaji Ramadan who is the father of Ghana’s Second Lady, Samira Bawumia becomes the first ever Ambassador to be appointed to the oil rich country.
President Akufo-Addo at a short ceremony at the Flagstaff House charged the new Ambassador to be a worthy representative of the country by building strong relations between the two countries.
The new Ambassador on his part thanked the President for the confidence reposed in him and promised to deliver.
Alhaji Ramadan is the former chairman of People’s National Convention (PNC). He retired from active politics in 2015.
