Zidane Signs New Contract Set To Be In Charge To 2020

ZidaneReal Madrid has extended the contract of their head coach, Zinedine Zidane to tie him down to 2020.

Zidane made the disclosure immediately after his side drew 2:2 with Numancia in the Spanish Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

His contract  which was renewed in September 2017 was set to expire at the end of this season.

According to the him, the extension of the contract is nothing new as it does not change anything in relation to his days in charge.

“I’m enjoying what I do every day, because that’s the way it is. I can’t imagine myself as a coach in two, three years, because things are not like that.

“I know how it goes, nothing more, even with this contract it does not change anything.”

Zidane has won eight trophies in his two years in charge but his job in recent times has come under serious scrutiny as a result series of bad runs this season.

Already, they are 16 points behind league leaders Barcelona and it looks like they have only the Champions league and Copa del Rey to fight for.
