From “Poison” to “Maame hw3”, Ebony Reigns would have gone places in her music career if death had not laid its icy hands on her.
The young music icon would have been 21 years today had she been alive but death took the better of her life on that faithful day.
Yes, the young musician has gone with the melodious voice and all music loving fans will miss the young talent.
Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony, was a Ghanaian musician known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”.
Discovered by Bullet, Ebony was born in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra.
She started her basic education at Seven Great Princess Academy in Dansoman, Accra, followed by a high school education at Methodist Girls High School at Mamfe but she quit high school in pursuit of her music career.
She came out with her first single, “Dancefloor”, in December 2015, with a video and audio release.
The song became radio hit, landing her a nomination for the “unsung” category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”. She was signed to Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc.
