The Serbia international has scored eight of Fulham’s 19 Premier League goals so far this season
Fulham have rejected a bid worth £50million for Aleksandar Mitrovic from an unnamed Chinese club, according to reports.
The Cottagers will be desperate to keep hold of their star striker as they battle relegation in the Premier League.
Fulham are currently 19th in the table, four points off safety with less than half the season to go.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is wanted by Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande
According to The Sun, Fulham have rejected the huge offer from Guangzhou, in what is the latest show of Chinese interest in Premier League players.
Mousa Dembele, the Tottenham midfielder, is expected to join Beijing Guoan, while West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic has been the subject of a failed £35m bid, allegedly from Shanghai SiPG.
After being loaned out to Fulham from Newcastle on February 1 last year, Mitrovic netted 12 times in just 17 games to help the west Londoners return to the top flight via a 1-0 play-off win over Aston Villa.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has scored eight of Fulham’s 19 Premier League goals.

He did, however, miss a penalty as Fulham were dumped out of the FA Cup by League Two side Oldham last week.
The rest of his accumulator came in, but Fulham’s defeat ruled the bet slip incorrect and the unlucky punter missed out on some serious winnings.
