Let My Vote Count Demonstrator Who Lost One Eye In “Demo” Has Died

Justice Adzakuma, the Let My Vote Count Demonstrator Who Lost One Eye In “Demo” is dead.


Tributes have been pouring in for the “Let My Vote Count” demonstrator who lost one of his eyes in a demonstration in 2015.

According to information available to Ghanaxtra.com, 39-year-old Mr. Justice Ajakumah who lived at Accra New Town has died.

Mr. Justice Adzakuma was one of the many Ghanaians who participated in the bloody and infamous “Let My Vote Count Alliance” (LMVCA) demonstration that injured many.

He was beaten to pulp with one of his eyes completely damaged after security officials clashed with the demonstrators over the approved routes.

The demonstration was to compel the Charlotte Osei led Electoral Commission(EC) to give in to their demand for a new voters’ register.
