Video: NDC Executives “Booted & Hooted” Out Of Atebubu Chief’s Palace Over Sanja Nanja’s Apology

Attempts by some Regional Executives of the NDC in the Bono East Region to plead on behalf of embattled former MP for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Sanja Nanja has hit a snag.

The executives who were sent as emissaries to plead on behalf of the former legislator had a hectic time at the Owusu Asare Palace as their apology was unconditionally rejected.

Led by the Regional Chairman, the executives were at the palace to plead with the Atebubu Traditional Council to rescind its decision following a petition by the council to the party to warn him not to seek any office on behalf of Atebubu.

But the appeal by the Regional Executives fell on deaf ears as the Traditional authority maintained its long held stance.

Tried as the Executives did, their appeal was to no avail as the traditional council was resolute and unequivocal in its order.

Left with no choice and with disappointment beaming on their faces, the Regional Executives left the palace.

But some irate crowd who had gotten wind of their visit and had besieged the premises of the Chief Palace venged their anger on the already dejected executives with some even threatening to deal with some of the executives.

Amid hooting, the regional executives had to be whisked away by police personnel from the charged crowd.

Meanwhile, investigations by this portal reveal that in spite of this, Honourable Sanja Nanja has no plans of backing down and will be seeking to represent the NDC in the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency in the 2020 elections.
