Atebubu Traditional Council Performs Dreaded “Kodwane” Ritual Against Sanja Nanja

The woes of the embattled former Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Sanja Nanja continues to deepen every day.

Sanja Nanja is hot again as the Atebubu Traditional Council has finally severed ties with him by performing the necessary traditional rites.

The council today August 14, 2019, sacrificed a sheep to the gods to traditionally ban the former Member of Parliament from campaigning within the jurisdiction of the traditional council.

The sacrifice was necessitated by the former legislator’s use of unprintable words against the Queenmother of the Atebubu Traditional Council, Nana Afuah Donyina II in 2016.

Surrounded by all sub chiefs and fetish priests within the jurisdiction of the Atebubu Traditional Council, the “Nsumankwaahene”, Nana Kofi Amoakohene performed the dreaded “Kodwane” sacrifice to purify the gods and the stools.

According to him, they have not only banned Sanja Nanja from campaigning on their lands for disrespecting the Queenmother, but he is forever forbidden from seeing any chief of the Atebubu Traditional Area.

Nana Kofi Amoakohene, however, debunked rumours that the Traditional Council is anti-NDC by reiterating that their problem is with Sanja Nanja and not the NDC as a party.
