Sanja Nanja wins Atebubu NDC primaries…
The embattled former legislator whose campaign ban was recently reinforced by the Atebubu Traditional Council was given an overwhelming endorsement by the NDC delegates to lead the party into the 2020 elections.
Out of the 1,267 valid votes cast, Sanja Nanja polled 947 votes to beat his sole contender, Peter Menka Boadu who managed 320 votes.
Known by his followers as “Man of the grassroots”, Sanja Nanja who lost the seat to the NPP in 2016 has promised to reclaimed the seat.
He thanked the delegates for the trust reposed in him and urged for a united front in the 2020 elections.
“I wish to express my deepest appreciation to all friends and loved ones, sympathisers and more especially NDC delegates of Atebubu/Amantin for the confidence reposed in me.
“We are a united family and with oneness my God is yet to do greater things and one of them is 2020 victory.
