Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, 4 Other Ghanaian Artistes Nominated For AFRIMA

Six Ghanaian artistes have gained nominations for the 6th edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

Sarkodie recieved two nominations – Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African Hip Hop and Best African Rapper/Lyricist – for ‘Bibii’ ft. LJ, Tulenkey, Frequency, K. Mole, ToyBoi, Yeyo, Amerado, 2Fyngers, Obkay and CJ.

Stonebwoy secured a nomination for his song ‘Tuff Seed’, while Shatta Wale also received a nomination for his hit song ‘My Level’.

The event which will be held from November 20 – 23 also has Guiltybeatz, Mr Eazi and Kwesi Arthur as nominees for their song ‘Pilolo’ in the category Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African Electro.

Kuami Eugene has also been nominated in the African Fans Favourite category for his song ‘Oheemaa’ ft Kidi.

Video director REX has also been nominated in the Best African Video category for his work on Kuami Eugene’s ‘Oheemaa’ ft Kidi.

South Africa’s prolific rapper and producer Nasty C; African music definitive artiste, Davido; Nigeria’s contemporary music talent, Burna Boy; and Northern Africa’s brilliant showman, Tamer Hosny all scored high nominations.
