The flag-bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama has held a consultative meeting with executives of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC).

Accompanied by party bigwigs such as the National Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu Ampofo, the General Secretary Asiedu Nketia, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Sylvester Mensah, Dr Spio Garbrah and Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the meeting was called at the behest of the NDC.

The meeting is part of a number of consultative meetings with various stakeholders, ahead of the development of the NDC’s manifesto and our campaign for the 2020 elections.

Issues on corruption, a national development agenda, education, the Electoral Commission, security and the banking and financial sector were extensively discussed by both parties.

Mr Mahama who led the team reiterated a future NDC government’s commitment towards ensuring a sustained development for all.

He revealed that the NDC will continue to champion the ideals of social democracy if given the nod by the good people of Ghana.
