Deputy Chief of Staff, Abu Jinapor, has been captured in what many people describe as “things we do for votes”.

Abu Jinapor who will be contesting the 2020 elections on the ticket of the NPP in the Damongo Constituency has hit the ground running since getting the nod to lead the party.

As part of efforts aimed at increasing his visibility in the constituency, he has performed philanthropic gestures such as the drilling of boreholes, extension of electricity to some deprived communities, the construction of a footbridge leading to the Damongo cemetery, the donation of a digging equipment to the Muslim community at Damongo and the donation of 100 vials of anti-snake venom to the Damongo hospital.

But the young Jinapor who is seeking to wrestle the Damongo seat from the NDC’s Adam Mutawakilu popularly known as “Galus” is not leaving any stone unturned as he has been captured threshing shea-nut with some women in his constituency.

Clearly, the battle for the Damongo seat will be interesting.
