NPP MP Robbed At Gunpoint In His Bedroom, Advised To Watch His Back By His Attackers

Information reaching is that the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Kennedy Kwasi Kankam has been attacked by armed robbers.

The incident according to sources available to this portal happened around 3:00 am on Sunday.

The attackers numbering about four allegedly trailed the NPP legislator to his plush apartment and robbed him.

The robbers who were on a “shoot to kill mission” only changed their minds after much persuasion from the tearing wife and little kids of the legislator.

Speaking on Kumasi based Kessben FM, the traumatised legislator confirmed the incident and revealed that the robbers were well-briefed raising a lot of suspicions.

He revealed that he suspects elements within his party for the attack.

“They entered my bedroom around 3:00 am and demanded that I hand over all the cash in the house to them. I was only saved by the presence of my wife and little kids.

“It is an inside job. I suspect people within my own party for the attack on him but thankfully  I survived” he revealed.
