After his release from police cells after spending two days behind bars, Awal Sulemana was treated to a heroic welcome.
He was released on bail on Saturday following an intervention by Ghana Football Association Executives in the region.
The pitch invader as Awal has become known in the Ghanaian media was paraded through some of the principal streets in Cape Coast.
His family and friends took him across town in a vehicle to celebrate his release.
