Kyeiwaa Marries again

Kumawood actress Akua Ataa Kyeiwaa has remarried after her controversial marriage hit the rocks five years ago.

The veteran actress who is now 57 years old has found another Romeo to spend her life with.

The actress and her newfound love, Micheal Kissi Asare tied the knot on Saturday, January 25 at a private ceremony in the United States of America.

The low key event was attended by a handful of family members and friends.

Kyeiwaa ended her marriage with Daniel Osei in September 2015, just five days after their quiet wedding at Brofoyedu, a suburb of Kumasi.

The 52-year-old popular actress who was accompanied by a number of Kumawood actors to return the dowry to Osei confirmed to Accra-based Kasapa FM she was done with Osei.

Their wedding ceremony was attended by a couple of movie stars, but the marriage was not meant to last as the wife of the Kumasi-based spare parts dealer popped up soon after she heard of her their wedding.

The wife of Daniel Osei, Ms Florence Kyei was all over the media accusing the actress of husband snatching, forcing the actress’ family to go into a crisis meeting to resolve the issue, only to emerge later that Osei even rented a crowd for Sunday’s ceremony.

Kumawood Actress Vivian Jill, who was at the wedding, told a radio station that apart from the few Kumawood stars who went to support Kyeiwaa, those who came with Osei were rented and ‘not true family relations as he made us to believe.”

“We’ve just found out he even rented the people he claimed were his family relations. This man is full of deceit.”

The actress shortly after the botched marriage relocated to Europe and has been off-screen for a long time.

We wish her the best of luck in this new marriage.
