The Member of Parliament for the Yapei Kusawgu constituency, Honourable John Jinapor has opened up on the SONA “item 13” brouhaha.
The young legislator sounding a bit hesitant on the issue failed to deny or confirm the said reportage.
Responding to the issue on Asempa FM’s flagship political show, Ekosii Sen, Mr Jinapor initially choked on the question.
The Yapei Kusawgu MP obviously shocked at the report said he could not confirm or deny whether some of his colleagues went for the food or not.
“I don’t know but I can’t say it didn’t happen”.
The Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu yesterday revealed that the minority members after boycotting the SONA stayed behind and enjoyed the meals prepared for the programme.
“They didn’t boycott the kebabs and the drinks. they participated fully in taking the kebabs and the drink. they only boycotted the sessional address. the people of this country should be mindful of the kind of opposition we have…”
