A beautiful photo of five female doctors from the same parents is trending on social media.
The sisters including Dr. Salamat Ahuoiza Aliu, the first female to be certified a neurosurgeon in West Africa, practice in disciplines such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Health, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and Public Health.
Recently, 40-year-old Dr. Salamat Aliu made headlines after she became the first indigenous trained female neurosurgeon in Nigeria. She graduated from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Sokoto and practices at the National Hospital in Abuja.
The rest of the Aliu sisters are, Halima Aliu Ayo, Raliat Aliu Usman, Khadijah Aliu and Medinah Aliu.
