Coronavirus kills 3 Ghanaians in Europe – Foreign Minister

Three Ghanaians have been confirmed dead after contracting the novel coronavirus in Europe.

Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, who revealed this to journalists on Wednesday March 18, 2020 said, two of them died in hardest-hit Italy and one in Denmark.

Ms Botchway, however, said the situation has not reached a critical stage where evacuation of Ghanaians in affected countries would be required.

She has cautioned Ghanaians in Europe to be very careful of the outbreak which has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organization.
