The Ghanaian reportedly flew into the country from Turkey, while the other is a senior official of the Norwegian embassy in Ghana.

The Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, at an emergency press conference on Thursday night announced Ghana has recorded its first two cases of Coronavirus COVID-19.

Mr Agyemang Manu indicated that the cases were imported but failed to reveal the identities and nationalities of the patients.

But Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, on Friday morning confirmed their nationalities and indicated that the response team has started the process of tracing all persons who might have come into contact with the patients in the aircraft that brought them into the country.
