An elder and a staunch member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Denmark has been confirmed dead.
Mr Kwabena Manu reportedly passed away on March 15, 2020, in Denmark as a result of exposure to the deadly novel Coronavirus.
According to a report sighted on dailyguidenetwork.com, the late Mr Manu has not been well since December 2019.
He was at an Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in Denmark but got exposed to the virus at his recovery ward.
He, unfortunately, passed away on Sunday.
Known as the man who brought African rhythm to Denmark, Kwabena Manu was a very influential figure in Denmark in the 80s and early 90s within the music circles.
He teamed up with Danish music moguls at the time to promote annual Afro-Caribbean music festival in Denmark in the 80s.
