Apostle Kofi Nkansah Sarkodie, the Kumasi-based pastor who was picked up last week for violating the presidential directives on public gatherings, has been arrested for the second time.
The leader of the Open Arms Ministries was arrested at his church premises at North Suntreso for holding a church service, despite restrictions on such activities.
Sources say he was leading congregational worship at the time police personnel from the Buffalo Unit stormed his church on Sunday morning.
Apostle Sarkodie was arrested for the same offences on Wednesday, March 18, but was subsequently granted police enquiry bail under the condition that he will not reconvene his members until the ban was lifted.
GhanaXtra.com understands that the preacher will be sent to court on Monday, March 23, 2020.
