Ex-Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko supremo, Charles Asampong Taylor, has roasted Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe over recent comments he made about Ghanaian players returning to relaunch their careers in the local league.
The former Black Stars midfielder says Nyaho Tamakloe’s archaic ideas have no place in modern football and so should retire from the boardroom of the phobians.
Speaking to Accra-based Asempa FM Monday morning, Taylor warned that, if the likes of Dr. Tamakloe are not axed from the team, Hearts of Oak will soon collapse since they add nothing to its fortunes but only criticize.
“How much does he contribute to Hearts of Oak, he and his cohorts have become archaic.”
“Does he buy a player for Hearts of Oak, he’s capable of collapsing the club. Nyaho Tamakloe will collapse Hearts because all his utterances are unfortunate. I will say it bluntly they can kill me, I am not afraid of them.”
“These old administrators whose time is up, they want everyone’s downfall, they don’t want others to attain higher heights.”
Taylor questioned why the Board Member won’t allow the coaches to decide whether or not to accept a returnee player to the team but always wants to deny the players such opportunities.
“How can he deny someone the chance to play for the club, Is Hearts of Oak for him, they just say anything and when you return fire for fire they will tag you as undisciplined.
“If a player has returned from abroad to relaunch his career, you have to pamper him so he returns to the club.”
“I don’t even listen to his likes again, because it is infuriating. If someone wants to relaunch his career, its up to the coach to observe him. How can you deny him that chance. Where should he go?”
Charles Kwaku Asampong Barnie Taylor was a member of the powerful Hearts of Oak team that won the CAF Champions League, the CAF Super Cup, the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup in the year 2000.
He later switched to team’s fiercest rivals Asante Kotoko in one of the most controversial and record transfers in the history of the Ghanaian game.
