Ghana’s coronavirus death toll has risen to eleven after one more patient succumbed to the killer virus.
This was confirmed by the Ghana Health Service in the Sunday April 26 update on its COVID-19 website.
The updated data shows that 271 more positive cases have been confirmed with the past two days, while 21 more patients receiving treatment for coronavirus infections have recovered.
Total number of patients to have triumphed over the deadly virus since its entry into the country now stands at 155 out of 1,550 total confirmed cases in 45 days.
So far four regions, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo and Savannah, are yet to record cases of coronavirus. Greater Accra has the highest with 1,347 confirmed cases followed by Ashanti, with 69 and Eastern region which has confirmed 57 cases.
