Rapper, Desmond Blackmore, popularly called D-Black wants music producer, DJ Breezy to drop a banger Castro recorded shortly before he went missing.
His comment follows Kaywa’s preview of Castro’s unreleased duet with Nigerian superstar Davido on the latest episode of the sensational Behind Da Hitz Challenge.
D-Black who was following yesterday’s challenge on Instagram between two of Ghana’s top producers, Kaywa and JMJ, said it’s been six long years since the song was recorded and now is the time to let it out so the fans of the missing musician can rhyme to it.
“Breezy, I think it’s time to drop the last song Castro recorded. We’ve held it for 6 years. Give it to the people Chale….Underfire lives on!”
Yesterday’s edition of the popular Instagram Challenge was an emotional moment for Kaywa, who used the episode to honour his long-lost friend Castro, who reportedly disappeared on July 6, 2014, whilst jet skiing with a female friend off the coast of the Aqua Safari Resort at Ada.
Kaywa displayed an Audio Technica microphone he got from Castro years ago and showed gratitude to the missing musician for all the good things he did for him whilst around.
The show also received comments from several other Ghanaian celebrities including, Captain Planet of 4×4, DJ Breezy, StreetBeatz, MzGee of TV3 and popular YouTuber, ZionFelix Nana Yaw Adomako.
The now trending BehindDaHitz Challenge inspired by Sarkodie, is a platform where two music producers take turns in a live broadcast on Instagram to treat followers to a back-to-back playlist of all the hit tracks they’ve recorded.
