Former Black Stars midfielder, Sulley Muntari has reportedly joined Accra Hearts of Oak on a two year deal.
The former AC Milan star is said to be training with the Ghanaian club ahead of the second round of the local league which was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Muntari is returning to a team he has always wished to play, after ending his contract with Spanish side Albecete which plays in the lower league.
The 35-year-old has had an awesome career in Europe playing for Udinese, Portsmouth, Inter Milan, AC Milan and others.
He won the FA cup with Portsmouth in 2008 and the UEFA Champions League with Inter Milan in 2010 under celebrated coach, Jose Mourinho.
Muntari has played in three consecutive FIFA World Cups with Ghana’s senior football team, the last one being Brazil 2014 where he fell into controversies that would later end his career with the Black Stars.
