COVID-19 Update: Case Count Moves To 5,638, With 1,460 Recoveries & 28 Deaths

Ghana has recorded an additional one hundred and eight new cases of coronavirus.

The national tally now stands at 5,638 with 1,460 and 28 casualties, the Ghana Health Service has revealed.

The Greater Accra region still leads with 4,248 cases followed by the Ashanti region with 798 cases and the Central Region with 210 cases in that order.

The Eastern, Western and Western North regions follow with 99, 87 and 57 cases respectively.

In terms of gender distribution, 62 percent males compared to 38 percent of females have tested positive for the virus.

Volta Region – 34
Northern Region – 31
Oti Region – 26
Upper East Region – 26
Upper West Region – 21
North East Region – 2
Bono Region – 1

NB: the Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East regions have all recorded no cases.
