Full Judgement: Former NCA boss, two others jailed for causing financial loss to the state

An Accra High Court, on Tuesday May 12, convicted former Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA), William Tetteh Tevie and two others for causing financial loss to the state.

Having found them guilty of causing a $4 million financial loss to Ghana, presiding judge, Justice Eric Kyei Baffour slapped a six-year jail term each on Mr William Tevie and former Board Chairman of the NCA, Eugene Baffoe-Bonnie.

The third suspect, Salifu Osman, a former Deputy National Security Coordinator was handed a five-year jail term while one other accused person, a businessman who acted as an agent in the deal was acquitted and discharged.
