Popular Kumawood actress, Victoria Mensah a.k.a., Bono Hemaa has denied reports that she is dead.

GhanaXtra.com reported this morning that a rising Bono comedienne, Victoria Fosuaa popularly called Nana Yaa, had died in a road crash on the Sunyani-Berekum highway while riding on a motor bike on Saturday morning.

The late Nana Yaa was one of the new crop of entertainers popularizing the Bono language in the arts and would be remembered for her skits in her native language.

Some media houses had earlier reported that it was the Kumawood actress Victoria Mensah who had died, thus directing several calls and condolence messages to her phone and social media pages.

Following the fake news which has gone viral, Bono Hemaa herself has come out to deny the rumours, saying she is very much alive and therefore people should ignore the false reports in the media.

She confirmed, however, that the deceased, Nana Yaa shared her name Victoria, and was the same person who released the recent viral skit on coronavirus.
