More than 90 cases of COVID-19 detected on Saturday as death toll rises to 29

97 new cases reported on Saturday

Ninety seven confirmed cases of coronavirus were diagnosed in Ghana on Saturday, The Ghana Health Service has said.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 5,735 as the death toll rose to twenty-nine following the loss of one more patient to the virus.

Some two hundred and ninety four (294) patients under treatment have been declared recovered after exit tests returned negative. The total number of recoveries now sit at 1,754.

Greater Accra region leads in terms of prevalence, while Ahafo, Bono East and the Savannah regions remain without the deadly contagion.
