Songstress Sista Afia has apologized to young rapper Freda Rhymz for attacking her at the premises of TV3 last week over a body-shaming tweet directed at her.
The two female acts who have been beefing for some weeks now almost clashed Saturday night on UTV entertainment show, United Showbiz, where renowned actress Nana Ama McBrown had invited them to try and iron out their differences and call a truce.
Sista Afia apologized to Freda Rhymz who accepted the apology but refused to return same, saying she had done nothing wrong to apologize for.
While expressing their displeasure about jabs used in each other’s songs, tempers rose when Sista Afia accused her colleague of saying more bad things about her behind her back.
Freda Rhymz who felt she was being bullied by Sista Afia attempted to walk out, only to be stopped by host McBrown, Bulldog and Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, who were panelists on the programme.
Following the apology, Sista Afia explained that she only became emotional when she was called ‘Abrewa’ (old lady) in a tweet by Freda Rhymz and that was when she threatened to beat her up if she says all that in her face any time they met.
