The Bono East region has recorded five more COVID-19 cases, the Ghana Health Service has revealed.
The new cases bring the total number of cases in the region to six.
The five new cases per information available to GhanaXtra.com were confirmed in Nkoranza, Techiman, Tuobodom and Kintampo.
The Bono East Region recorded its first COVID-19 case last week.
The case involves a 31-year-old(male) commercial driver at Yeji in the Pru East District.
The case was recorded out of a total 1,239 samples taken as a result of Routine and Enhance Surveillance conducted in the region.
