The Member of Parliament(MP) for Gushiegu Constituency in the Northern region, Dr. Ziblim Iddi has withdrawn from the NPP’s intraparty contest.

The legislator who doubles as the Deputy Minister of the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture says he arrived at the decision after deep introspection.

“I arrived at this painful decision after very broad consultation and deep introspection. I would be glad if you could kindly withdraw my application and delete my profile on the Notice of Poll and ballot paper for the election”.

The NPP will be going to polls on June 20 in constituencies where the party has sitting Members of Parliament.
