Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu has officially opened up after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus.
A post after President Akufo-Addo made his COVID-19 status public, the Minister expressed his gratitude to the President and thanked Ghanaians for the support.
“I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the President and all Ghanaians for your well wishes and prayers. By the grace of God, I’m responding to treatment”.
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo yesterday confirmed that the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu has tested positive for COVID-19.
Speaking during the 11th address to the nation on measures taken against the spread of Coronavirus, the president revealed that Mr. Agyeman-Manu contracted the virus in the line of duty.
He revealed that the Minister is in stable condition and urged Ghanaians to remember him in prayers.
“Let us also wish our hardworking Minister for Health, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu, MP for Dormaa Central, a speedy recovery from the virus, which he contracted in the line of duty, and is a stable condition”.
