Kweku Baako sues Kennedy Agyapong

The Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako will be donating all GHC 130,000 fine Kennedy Agyapong will pay to him to charity.

According to Kweku Baako, he is not interested in spending the money the legislator will pay as directed by the court.

Speaking on Newsfile on Joy News, the ace broadcaster who revealed he is glad that his integrity has been restored told Samson Lardi Anyenini that the money will go to Charity to better the lives of other people in the country.

Background

An Accra High Court fined Kennedy Agyapong GHC100,000 for defaming Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako.

The court presided over by Justice Afia Serwaa Asare Botwe also awarded a cost of GHS30,000 in damages against the defendant.

Additionally, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong has been given up to 30 days to retract and apologise three times on the same platforms defamed the veteran journalist.
