There is panic at the headquarters of the National Health Insurance Authority after it emerged that the CEO, Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby, has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a source at the headquarters who spoke to this portal on condition of strict anonymity, most of the staff are leaving in fear following the news.

The source reveals that even though they have been asked to self isolate in line with COVID-19 protocols, they do not know their fate.

Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby in an interview on Asaase Radio on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, revealed that she has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

She revealed that she has reached out to family and friends who came into contact with her to isolate and contact appropriate health professionals.

Her public admission comes days after news went viral that the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu had tested positive for the virus.

He has since been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre, where he was receiving treatment.
