Some parts of the country, mostly in the capital on Wednesday night recorded an earth tremor.
The earth tremor which occurred around 10:36 pm affected area such as McCarthy Hill, Gbawe, McCarthy Hill, and Tantra Hills, Osu, Ablekuma Manhean, Kaneshie, Achimota, Adenta, Circle, Kokomlemle, Accra New Town, Legon, Dansoman, Kasoa, Haatso, Kwashiman, Teshie, and Nungua
Areas outside the capital such as Nsawam, Koforidua, and Swedru were reportedly also hit by the tremor.
Interestingly, even before officials comment on the cause of the tremor, self-acclaimed dancehall King, Shatta Wale says he is behind it.
In a tweet, Shatta Wale wrote: “I just shake the table of God nooorrr dem deh run !!! Mun huuu shwiiii”.
