3 Members Of Carlos Ahenkorah’s Campaign Team Test Positive COVID-19

It has emerged that three members of Carlos Ahenkorah’s campaign team have tested positive for COVID-19.

The three individuals have been identified as Nana Boakye, Bobo, and Amankwah who reportedly passed away yesterday at the Leckma Hospital.

Carlos Ahenkorah, the former Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry was bashed for visiting some polling stations even though he had tested positive for COVID-19.

He tendered in his resignation hours later following the public outcry, a resignation that has been accepted by the presidency.

“The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Friday, 3rd July 2020 accepted the resignation from office the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Hon. Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, MP, which takes immediate effect.

“This follows the admission by the Deputy Minister of his breach of the COVID-19 protocols, when, as a person certified to be positive for the virus, he visited a registration centre in his constituency before the period of self-isolation was complete.”
