President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo will be going into a fourteen-day precautionary self-isolation, GhanaXtra.Com can report.
The fourteen days precautionary measure which takes effect from July 4, 2020, is on the advice of his doctors.
According to a statement signed by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the decision has been necessitated because some persons within his close circle have tested positive for COVID-19.
The statement continues that even though the President has tested negative, he has taken the move as a precautionary measure.
