Speaking on Peace Fm’s Krokokoo on Monday, Dr Prempeh who has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) told Kwame Sefa Kayi that he had tested negative for the virus prior to his admission at the hospital.
He revealed that he rather tested positive for the virus whilst on admission at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
“I tested positive for the virus while on admission at the UGMC. I had conducted multiple tests earlier and they all came out negative although I was not feeling well. It was my fourth day at the hospital that I tested positive.
“However, what I went through Tuesday dawn before Thursday when I was informed that I had contracted the virus was very frightening and I thought I would not live again. It is God who saved me. I cannot narrate how I felt that night”.
