Shocking! As Rawlings Reveals He Didn’t Vote For Mahama In 2016

The founder of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Jerry John Rawlings has revealed that he did not vote for the NDC’s Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama in the 2016 polls.

Mr Rawlings who is credited with the founding the NDC interetingly did not find his part’s presidential candidate worthy of his vote.

Mr Rawlings made the shocking revelation in an interview with Kweku Sakyi Addo on Asaase Radio on the Sunday Night programme.

The controversial statesman however failed to state why he voted against his party’s candidate.

Torn between love and the party he founded, the former Ghanaian leader revealed that he voted for his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings who stood on the ticket of the National Democratic Party.

“I would like to make a confession, actually. Was it 2016, we went to the polls? I voted for her (Mrs Rawlings).”
