The principal suspect at the centre of the Kafaba lynching incident in the Savannah region has vowed to continued working despite the consequences.
According to Sherina Mohammed, her job is a calling from God and so she cannot stop that divine work.
She make the comment when she appeared before the presiding Judge at the Bole Magistrate Court, His Worship Prince Andrews Kudjo on 6th August 2020.
This was after the court had inquired if she will continue with her trade in the event that she is freed by the court.
She was remanded into Police custody to reappear August 20, 2020.
The 40-year-old sorceress, Sherina Mohammed, who is alleged to be the mastermind of the lynching of the 90-year-old Madam Akua Denteh was arrested in Yeji in the Bono East region.
Madam Akua Denteh believed to be in her 90’s was lynched for allegedly being a witch in Kafaba in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region.
The ordeal of the poor old woman follows allegations by the soothsayer that the old lady was a witch.
