The National Democratic Congress(NDC) will be challenging the 2020 election results in court next week.
According to the party, it will be heading to court on Wednesday, December 30 to seek redress as far as infractions detected with the elections are concerned.
Speaking on Newsfile on Saturday, the Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson Nelson-Dafeamekpor, revealed that the party has gathered enough evidence to pursue the matter.
Rockson Nelson-Dafeamekpor who sounded very authoritative indicated that the party will hit court latest by next week Wednesday.
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Madam Jean Mensa on December 9, 2020, declared Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election.
Nana Akufo-Addo polled 6,730, 413 which is 51.59% of the total votes cast whilst his closest contender, John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) polled 6, 214, 889 representing 47.36% of the total votes cast.
But the NDC has refused to concede citing irregularities with the results.
