Deborah Essien: The First & Youngest Female Lawyer From Kojokrom

A total of 424 new lawyers have been called to the Bar to commence the legal profession after a short ceremony organized by the General Legal Council (GLC) in Accra.

Among the 424 distinguished individuals is Miss Deborah Essien, from Kojokrom in the Western region of Ghana.

A product of West Ridge School Basic School, Ketan, in Sekondi, she becomes the first and youngest female lawyer from Kojokrom.

She had her Senior High School education at Archbishop Porter’s Girls before proceeding to the University of Ghana for her LLB and eventually to the Ghana School of Law.

Her feat is no mean achievement and should be celebrated by all.

We wish her an illustrious career at the bar.

Congrats Deborah Essien! You are true Twabewu.
