16 Passengers Perish In Another Gory Accident At Akyem Asafo

16 people have reportedly passed away in a ghastly accident at Akyem Asafo in the Eastern region.

Media reports indicate that 23 died on the spot whilst one person passed away at the hospital.

The unfortunate incident happened when two 2 KIA Granbird buses collided on the Accra-Kumasi highway.

According to the police, the unfortunate incident happened at about 1:30 am on Friday with the driver of a KIA Granbird bus with registration number GT 5629-18 being one of the casualties.

Meanwhile, several others who sustained injuries are responding to treatment at the hospital.
