A female student of the University of Ghana, Miss Rosemary Ayelazuno Achentisa, has graduated with First Class Honours.
Rosemary Ayelazuno Achentisa read Geography and Resource Development with Archaeology.
From a poor background, Rosemary hails from Mirigu, a farming community in the Kassena Nankana West District of the Upper East Region.
According to her, the journey was not all that rosy but that did not serve as a hindrance in any way as she persevered towards the attainment of her goal.
“Coming from a village in the Upper East Region of Ghana where there are limited resources I must say God has been faithful. Many times I failed but that did not deter me from moving forward and attaining my goal.”
