The National Democratic Congress(NDC) has suspended former Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyidoho.
The decision follows a petition by two members of the party, Eric Adjei, the Bono Deputy Regional Communication Officer, and Mr. Mobarak Abdul-Karim, Oti Regional Communication Officer.
The suspension is in relation to his recent verbal attacks on the party.
A statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Mr. Johnson Asiedu, says the suspension of Koku Anyidoho takes immediate effect.
“That with immediate effect, your membership of the NDC is suspended,” the statement reads in parts.
Mr. Anyidoho has also been referred to the party’s Disciplinary Committee for further actions.
