The National Democratic Congress(NDC) has dismissed former Deputy General Secretary, Samuel Koku Anyidoho from the party with immediate effect.
The decision was taken after a meeting by the Functional Executive Committee(FEC) on 27th July 2021 to consider the report and recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee.
Koku Anyidoho per a statement signed by the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, was found guilty of misconduct and anti-party behaviour.
“The FEC, acting in compliance of Article 48(1) of the NDC constitution Unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the party.”
The statement continues that: “You, are, therefore by the decision of FEC expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter, you are no more recognised as a member of the party and cannot carry yourself as such”.
The Functional Executive Committee in February 2021 suspended Koku Anyidoho with immediate effect.
The party in a letter addressed to Mr. Anyidoho at the time revealed that the suspension was pending a final determination of a petition brought against him.
